An unforgettable experience
An Unforgettable Experience in Cusco

I t was the last day of the mesmerising trip, when we had just finished having lunch in the alluring and oversized Monasterio Hotel. Before eating, most would compare us to hungry lions. My friends and I made what seemed like a walk around the world to get to the bathroom. Once we got out, it was almost impossible to find our way back as the hotel was tremendous. We eventually found our way through the intricate and breathtaking hallways. But all we came to find in the restaurant, were empty chairs and licked clean platters, by then, panic started to settle in. The thought of being left behind was not an easy one. But as we frantically started to spin around in circles trying to find our peers, I catch out of the corner of my eye the mass drifting away to a microscopic and small-scaled street. Then, the catch up game started. we started proceeding in their direction. We were ambulating to the fascinating and marvellous Plaza de Armas to take another vast whole grade picture. While roaming toward them, you could see breathtaking miniature ancient houses with aged pavement and all these antique balconies in the allies. You could also take in the stores that were in the same alley, we were interrupted there for a second to squint at the chattels and there were admirable and enticing jackets that cost around 30–35 soles.

Since we were late, once we arrived to the Plaza and were strolling down the walkway we saw all the husky class situated in front of the attractive and delightful Cathedral which was humongous and getting in there cost 25 soles which is not expensive if you are really going to appreciate all the art in the place. It was a really charming place so later when I got home I went to the internet and found out that from the airport to the Plaza there is only 4.5km and it takes around 15–20 minutes getting there. Also that a taxi from the airport to the Plaza is 25–30 soles and if you want to do a whole tour of the Plaza with a guide that starts with you from the airport, it is 49 soles per person. A restaurant that is close from the Plaza and that is very courteous is the Monasterio Hotel and a lunch there for 3–4 people will cost approximately 100–120 soles.

Anyways, while hiking towards our friends we encountered two ladies wearing traditional clothes from Cuzco possessing two baby and tini llamas, carrying them as if it were their child. At that moment a teacher had bursted to tell us that we needed to go take the class picture with them, but we didn’t really care, we wanted a picture with the baby llamas like if it was a once in a lifetime opportunity. The only hitch was that to snap the picture you needed to donate money, but only if you wanted. We did donate money because we knew it was their job and that people didn’t really pay them so much. My friend and I didn’t have money so we interrogated the teacher to lend us some like crying babies, that in Lima we were going to pay him back as soon as possible, which we did. Finally, we handed the money to the ladies and then took the picture with the soft and baby llamas. Once we were finished, we ran like cheetahs to our friends to take the longing class picture.
