Let’s get to know Abigail and discover the qualities that make her an invaluable asset to our team’s success in honor of her recent achievement.

Abigail, can you introduce yourself and share your official job title?

My name is Abigail Bradley, and I currently hold the position of Assistant Director.

Tell us a little about your educational background. What did you do after high school?

I attended the Awakening Leadership Center, where I gained resilience, perseverance, and determination to keep going no matter what.

What values are important to you in a teammate or new hire?

Coachability, respect/honor, and the desire to grow and get uncomfortable.

What is your leadership style?

I’m a people-first kind of gal. I prioritize the well-being of my team. If we’re not seeing the production results we were hoping for, it’s time to check in on the team’s wellness.

How do you respond to criticism?

Every bit of criticism is an opportunity for growth and a chance to identify areas for improvement.

Can you talk about your journey since starting at our company?

Within my first two months, I was quickly promoted to Team Lead. I learned valuable lessons about being others-oriented and what it means to be a servant leader. Shifting my focus from personal promotions to developing my team led to their growth and success, ultimately contributing to my own growth as well.

What is your favorite thing about our company?

The culture! We have a saying, “1 more for the culture,” which represents going above and beyond to make a million-dollar decision. Additionally, the opportunity to travel is a fantastic perk.

What drew you to our company initially?

The growth opportunity and the supportive culture were the main factors that attracted me. Despite my initial skepticism, I realized the potential for personal and professional development within this environment.

What are your short-term and long-term goals?

In the short term, my immediate goal is to successfully open our office on August 21st. Looking ahead, my long-term goal is to promote two people to run their own business before June 2024.

Tell us about your greatest skill.

My ability to genuinely care for people, especially my team.

What business advice would you give to individuals starting a career?

“Your confidence comes from your circle.” Surround yourself with like-minded individuals who will challenge and grow you. Stay focused on others, and success will follow.

Would you recommend our career style to young leaders?

This is the opportunity of a lifetime! It’s a better experience than most college degrees offer and you get paid instead of accruing mass amounts of debt.

Share a few habits that led to your promotion to Assistant Director.

Constant personal development. I reach out to my mentors and seek resources like books and podcasts. I’m intentional about spending one-on-one time with my people to get to know them and build solid relationships.

What are the biggest challenges you faced in your current role and why?

Adapting to what my team needs from me and meeting them where they’re at has been my biggest challenge so far. As someone who has a specific way of doing things, learning to be a better leader every day has been a rewarding growth process.

What are you looking forward to the most in your new role?

Learning all the back ends of operating a successful business!

How have you prepared to excel in this position?

I intentionally create time to talk with mentors about their expectations for me and how I can best serve my team, all while being taught how to run the clerical side of the business!

What surprised you the most about your current position?

The sense of collective effort and accomplishment. Becoming a Team Lead was incredibly gratifying, but when I was promoted to Assistant Director, it felt like a big promotion for my entire team. I discovered the joy of sharing achievements with others.

What important lesson did a mentor teach you?

“Your confidence comes from your circle.” The people you surround yourself with can greatly impact your confidence and growth.

Abigail Bradley’s journey from Team Lead to Assistant Director is a testament to her unwavering commitment to the success and well-being of her team. With her team-oriented approach, dedication to personal development, and empathetic leadership style, Abigail continues to make a significant impact within our Consultive Strategy Group organization. We are honored to have her as an integral part of our team, and we look forward to witnessing her ongoing growth and accomplishments.
