Since iOS 13, you could open any app on your iPhone from a custom workflow in the Shortcuts app using the “Open App” script—something that should have been in Shortcuts from the start. Third-party app developers can go beyond that by offering custom actions for their apps in Shortcuts, though not every app has jumped on board—but deep links can fill the void.

If you like the old-school way to open apps from custom shortcuts, by all means, use the URL schemes listed below for popular third-party apps to do so.

Probably more helpful in the list below would be the deep links; URLs with schemes and path, parameter, anchor, query, and fragment components that perform actions or take you to specific spots in the app. It’s great for building custom shortcuts but probably even better if you want to link to other apps from your own app.
