1. TUPAC SHAKUR (2PAC)

In November 1993, Tupac Shakur and three of his friends were accused of sexually assaulting a woman identified as Ayanna Jackson. He was eventually charged with first-degree sexual abuse and was sentenced to 18 months to 4 years and six months in prison. But in 1995, he was released on bail after just eight months of sentence.

2. ROBERT SYLVESTER KELLY (R. KELLY)

One of the famous pedophiles is R. Kelly. The singer has faced numerous accusations of sexual misconduct towards minors. In 2022, R. Kelly received a 30-year sentence upon being found guilty of eight counts of sex trafficking and one count of racketeering in a New York court. Later, in a separate federal trial held in Chicago, he faced a conviction for child sexual abuse.

3. MIKE TYSON (IRON MIKE)

In 1991, Desiree Washington accused Mike Tyson of sexually assaulting her in an Indianapolis hotel room. The rape allegations against the former boxer led to a publicized trial in 1992. After several days of trial proceedings, a jury found Tyson guilty of rape. He was sentenced to six years in prison, with an additional four years of probation. Mike Tyson was granted early release in 1995, serving less than three years of his sentence.

4. ROMAN POLANSKI

On charges of sexual assault against a 13-year-old girl named Samantha Gailey, Roman Polanski was arrested in March of 1977. Polanski was found guilty of unlawful sexual contact with a minor. Along with this is rape by use of drugs, sodomy, perversion, and lewd and lascivious act with a minor. Following the allegations, the filmmaker initially pleaded not guilty but later agreed to a plea deal. But, before sentencing, he fled the United States in 1978.

5. JARED FOGLE (SUBWAY GUY)

Jared Fogle, the former spokesperson for Subway, made headlines in 2015. The Subway guy was charged with possession of child pornography and engaging in sexual activity with minors. Fogle, now one of the celebrity sex offenders, used his celebrity status to exploit young girls. His crimes resulted in a 15-year prison sentence.

6. IAN WATKINS

Ian Watkins was the frontman of Lostprophets, a Welsh rock band. In 2012, the singer was arrested and charged with attempted rape of a baby, conspiracy to rape a child, and possession and distribution of child pornography. He pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including the attempted rape and sexual assault of children. In 2013, he was sentenced to 29 years in prison.

7. JERRY SANDUSKY

Jerry Sandusky was an assistant football coach at Penn State University. In 2011, victims who had suffered years of abuse from him shared their traumatic experiences. He was accused of sexually abusing young boys for 15 years.

In 2012, Jerry Sandusky was found guilty on 45 of the 48 charges, including child endangerment, involuntary deviant sexual intercourse, and indecent assault. The court sentenced him to a minimum of 30 years in prison.

8. ALEX DA SILVA

In 2009, multiple women accused Alex Da Silva — a Brazilian choreographer — of sexual assault and rape. He faced multiple charges, including forcible rape, assault with intent to commit rape, and penetration with a foreign object. Alex Da Silva was found guilty in 2011, with multiple charges related to the sexual assaults. Da Silva was given a 10-year sentence.

9. VICTOR SALVA

Victor Salva, the director of “Powder” and the “Jeepers Creepers” franchise, was convicted in 1988 of molesting a 12-year-old actor during the filming of his debut feature, “Clownhouse.” The director pleaded guilty to charges of lewd and lascivious conduct and procuring a child for pornography. He served a prison sentence and was required to register as a sex offender.

10. MICHAEL LAWRENCE TYLER (MYSTIKAL)

In 2003, Mystikal faced a significant legal battle that would shape his career and personal life. He was accused of sexual assault and extortion by a former hairstylist. The allegations alleged that Mystikal and two others committed a heinous act against the victim. In 2004, the rapper was sentenced to 6 years after being found guilty of sexual battery and extortion charges.
