Especially designed to kick-off fashion week events on the 28th of March, the MUTANI x KARTCHEV Speedwear Top is offered as a limited edition digital paired with physical item — available to purchase/mint as an NFT for a capped period of two weeks.
The MUTANI x KARTCHEV Speedwear Top impresses high-contrast graphic abstractions, signature to the Kartchev brand. Orders taken during this period will be the only designs to ever feature this specific print and priced at €269, each MUTANI x KARTCHEV Speedwear NFT package includes:

Sustainability, Authenticity, Traceability
Created specifically for the buyer, each MUTANI x KARTCHEV Speedwear Top comes with a certificate of authenticity and is delivered after a maximum production period of 3 months. This timeline is due to production on-demand, which offers a more sustainable method on account of less waste through overproduction.
MUTANI is also working with tokenized e-commerce platform Venly on Shopify to further enable this conscious consumption. Adopting blockchain technology to grant authenticity, traceability and a new revenue model for designers outside of traditional fashion systems.
This project represents a next-step for MUTANI: integrating the latest technologies to build a bridge for the adoption of new technologies, all while providing a sustainable and ethical way to enjoy high-quality fashion in support of the industry’s creative talent.

Stefan Kartchev
Stefan Kartchev is a Bulgarian designer and current resident at MAD (Centre for Fashion Design, Brussels. Although he has previously worked with Walter van Beirendonck, Rombaut, Bioracer, Jean-Paul Gaultier x Y/Project and Prada.
His personal aesthetic explores hybrid processes through research and experimentation — often uniting Bulgarian folkloric symbolism and craftsmanship with contemporary speedwear and a futuristic view.
