IT COMMUNITY: a loyalty program for IT specialists across Ukraine

IT Community is the first loyalty program that unites IT specialists all over Ukraine by Kharkiv IT Cluster with the technical support of WEBSPARK

“The loyalty program for specialists in our community was working successfully before the full-scale invasion, but it was more focused on city hacks and discounts in Kharkiv. After February 24th, everything changed, so we decided to change the concept of the program.

We wanted every person in the IT community, no matter where they find themselves, to remember that they are a part of the great IT Community that collaborates for the development of the ecosystem for the tech business,” said Olha Shapoval, Kharkiv IT Cluster Executive Director.

The development of the program started on the initiative of the Kharkiv IT Cluster at the end of September 2022. WEBSPARK has taken over all the work on creating the application. Considerable attention was also given to the product’s security.

“Realizing all the responsibility for the personal data of users, we analyzed all the risks and invested in the development of fundamental principles to effectively prevent these threats,” stated Eugene Katrich, CEO and Founder of WEBSPARK.

In your IT Community personal account you will find:

• a user-friendly and intuitive interface;
• QR code for receiving discounts and gifts;
• transaction history of QR code usage;
• information about partners and their offers;
• cool design bonus card;
• communication with the support service and developers.

Companies such as Techno Yizhak, Infoshina, MasterZoo, IT STEP Academy, Englishdom, Reikartz, and Ribas Hotels Group, among others, have already become vendors of the loyalty program. Active negotiations are also underway with Uklon, Drivovo, and Creative States. Our goal is to bring together only the best and most relevant offers in key categories that matter to IT specialists. The list of partners is constantly updated based on community requests to ensure favorable conditions for program participants.

“Our loyalty program is unique. Firstly, it’s open to everyone who wants to join the IT community and receive discounts, and special offers. At the same time, professionals collaborating with companies participating in the Kharkiv IT Cluster have the highest level of discounts.

Secondly, we select vendors exclusively from the list recommended by our users. The partner offers cover the entire Ukraine and are not limited by geolocation. If a particular offer or brand is not on the current list, anyone can make a recommendation directly within the application. It’s very important for us to hear the needs and requests of our users. We hope that IT Community will become a useful assistant for the community,” shared Olha Shapoval, Kharkiv IT Cluster Executive Director.

The IT Community app is available for download on both 👉Android and 👉iOS platforms. The program offers two levels of discounts:

• “Gold” — for IT specialists from member companies of the Kharkiv IT Cluster.
• “Silver” — for IT specialists and everyone who belongs to the IT community all over Ukraine.
