Becoming a citizen in Continuum World implies not only exploring randomly generated sky-islands, but also getting the chance to discover which kind of ecosystems form this vast, idyllic universe! Each one with its own exclusive terrains, fauna, climates… and dangers. Gathering resources feels different in each biome… so put on your explorer hat and be prepared to adapt!

SHORT DESCRIPTION OF EACH BIOME

There are a total of 6 distinctive, completely unique biomes, but remember: Continuum World is always alive, and biomes are not an exception; some hybrid resources might be found on rare occasions.

  • Forest: if you are a tree-type of person… greetings! Its regular good weather makes plants-related resources very abundant, like fruits or flowers. There are also storms, do not get overconfident by its cheerful atmosphere and always be careful!

  • Grassland: thick bushes and countless types of grass populate these terrains… along with ruins from an ancient civilization. Altogether, the combination makes quite the view.

  • Rocky: a hat is not mandatory, but recommended! This western-like biome is extremely rich in boulders and minerals, never forget to bring your pickaxe!
Rocky Biome
  • Glacial: frozen landscapes are the common scenery in this ecosystem. Its below zero condition makes it the perfect spot for pure crystals and other valuable resources that cannot be found elsewhere!
Glacial Biome
  • Volcanic: lava, magma… boiling rivers. Stepping into these flaming regions may seem a little bit dangerous… because it actually is! Still… are its rare resources worth the risk? Absolutely!
Volcanic Biome
  • Mystical: the rarest of the rarest! A radiant, always glowing underwater-like environment, full of strange creatures and otherworldly vegetation. Welcome to the unknown.

RARITIES OF EACH ONE AND IMPORTANCE IN THE GAME

The previous biomes are quite different from each other… but there are also rarities to create even more diversity! Each biome has three possible types of rarity, 3 being the rarest. Some resources are shared between all rarity levels, but a few of them are completely unique, like fruits or animals. Combinations are endless, so we hope you are up to the challenge!
