Astounding is one word; I would have called it disgusting. I am glad we have changed how we think about learning and other disabilities and we’re working on getting the default group-think about rape changed, too.

The case was a sign of its times, but shouldn’t the ruling be challenged based on newer science? I thought eugenics had been rather thoroughly discredited after WWII. And why do states keep laws like this on the books?
