Don’t BREXIT the Environment

Take and leave only what is absolutely needed.

I believe this with all my heart. Unfortunately, I was also brainwashed by the rampant consumerism that is America today. Do I need all the books in my house? Of course not, but I won’t get rid of them until I am forced to. The same goes for the over-sized house itself.

I also buy a lot of frozen food or freeze what I buy because life happens and I hate throwing out fresh food that spoiled because we didn’t eat it in time due to unforeseen circumstances. I use a little more electricity than many of my neighbors because of that large freezer, but I tend to only put one bag of garbage out to the curb every other week and a full recycle bin every week.

I am trying to work on my sufficiency and teach my son to do the same.
