I was never regular from the day I started.

Never had a clue when my next one would be until I went on the pill. At 36 my OB/gyn took me off because at that time I was still smoking. Pill plus smoking is considered dangerous after 35. Don’t yell at me — I’ve quit.

Two years later, I got pregnant. Irregular, remember. Three years after that, I was a widow.

All I can say is, “Thank goodness for menopause.”
