Furthering our mission to improve trust and safety in Web3, Honest Protocol recently opened the gates to Bounty 5 which occured during Gitcoin’s Metamorphosis Hackathon. And yesterday, openings for submissions closed.

We had seven open bounties with a $15,000 prize fund that’ll get shared between up to 21 winners (three prizes from each of the seven bounty categories).

Now, here’s a quick recap of the Gitcoin Metamorphosis Hackathon.

Number of Submissions

Altogether, we received 52 submissions spread across the seven different bounties.

Participants were tasked with six bounties focusing on security, compliance, and authenticity on the Ethereum blockchain:

  • Collecting unique datasets using tools like Dune Analytics, Forta, Python, etc.
  • Implementing interesting analytics methodologies using tools such as Dune Analytics, Python, etc.
  • Visualizing datasets in unique ways that would show interesting insights.
  • Specifying a process for how they’d collect an interesting dataset.
  • Specifying a process for how they’d implement interesting analytics methodologies.
  • Specifying a process for how they’d implement interesting visualization methodologies.

The last bounty was focused on creating an interesting narrative utilizing Vigilante Recon NFT Maps.

Announcement of Winners

We had many impressive entries for this bounty program!

However, only 21 submissions will get chosen by our judges. We’ll be announcing winners on October 6th.
