HonestNFT Bounty Recap: Round 3

Honest Protocol
2 min readMar 16, 2022

To date, our HonestNFT GitHub has 63 PRs, 236 commits, 58 forks, and 141 stars. This makes our repo one of the most popular open-source NFT projects in the world. Today, we’re excited to recap some of the great work done for round 3 of our bounty program where we’re giving out ~4ETH. Also, due to our recent, and ongoing, Vigilante NFT sales, we have funded our bounty program with another 32 ETH (~$85,000). More details on round 4 coming soon!

The following submissions all won ETH and non-transferrable ‘soulbound’ NFTs:

  • A ton of PRs by the great Barabazs (stability, bug fixes, folder structure, support for other blockchains)
  • Analysis of NFT Numerology by Antony Papadimitriou (#69 sells for a premium, but #420 doesn’t)
  • Integration of Plotly graphs for rarity rank and sales data by FlyingFish
  • Additions to Silopete’s rarity distribution visualization website
  • Guest post about preventing metadata trait sniping by Jeffrey Scholz (will be published here soon!)
  • Technical case study on leaked metadata and minting with flashbots by CryptoSec Group (will be published here soon!)
  • Grassroots marketing by Anonymousminer
  • HonestNFT Swag from DanMath

Winners: Barabazs, Antony Papadimitriou, FlyingFish, Silopete117, Jeffrey Scholz, CryptoSec Group, DanMath, & Anonymousminer.

As mentioned, all of these winners will receive non-transferrable ‘soulbound’ NFTs in the following days. See below for images! The top row features ‘crypto sleuths’ and the bottom row shows ‘shadowy super coders’. As with Vigilantes, both masculine and feminine versions are available.
