There are many different jobs within the industry to choose from, such as event photographer, photojournalist, fashion photographer or even a freelance photographer. The idea of making money with a camera and capturing memories has become more mainstream and lucrative than ever before.

There are many benefits to becoming a professional photographer. The first one being that the job is stable, with demand in both good and bad economic times.

There are also many opportunities for advancement, including starting your own photography business or becoming an instructor at a college or university level.

A downside to being a professional photographer is that it is an expensive career path, with various requirements for training and equipment.
