CoolFarm is the winner of Start Tel Aviv 2016
Start Tel Aviv is a global competition held by the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Tel Aviv Global that brings together technology startups from 30 different countries around the world to compete for the opportunity to take part in an intense, five-day startup experience in Tel Aviv’s unrivaled startup ecosystem.
This competition was prepared for female entrepreneurs and Liliana Marques (CoolFarm co-founder) was the Portuguese winner, representing the company and Portugal during the program and the DLD Innovation Festival (September 24–29, 2016), on behalf of the Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality, the Tel Aviv Global Initiative, and the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Tel Aviv is one of the world’s leading startup ecosystems. The city has been ranked the best place outside of the United States to open a startup and was named by the Wall Street Journal as one of the most innovative cities in the world. It was amazing to meet all the people involved in the contest, all the entrepreneurs, investors and growers from Israel.
