1914–1918: Served as an artillery officer in the Austrian army during World War I.
1921: Appointed as a professor of theoretical physics in Zurich.
1926: Formulated the Schrödinger equation, laying the foundation for wave mechanics.
1927: Moved to Berlin, succeeding Max Planck.
1933: Left Nazi Germany and relocated to Oxford. Shared the Nobel Prize in Physics with Paul Dirac.
