I like to think about business ideas as hypotheses. You use criteria like the above to decide if you believe the idea is worth pursuing, but you won’t know for sure until you test it. The goal then, is to test the hypothesis as inexpensively as possible, so that if you’re wrong, you’re able to change course and try something else.

Teachers can certainly be a hard market to crack, but some people make it work with books, speaking and targeting district budgets.
