$100 to Automate your Marketing

Ever wondered how to automate your marketing for around $100? Chris d’Eon uncovered how to start hacking it together at San Diego’s startup incubator, EvoNexus and their Marketing Mondays Meetup.

Chris went over a lot of options and a ton of info about the process. He talked about a great local San Diego marketing automation company named Greenrope that I plan on trying. He also went all the way up to HubSpot at $8,000/month.

But it was at the end when he opened it up to the audience that it all came together. Throughout the presentation Chris repeated that you have to start small and test and do things manually before you invest heavily in marketing automation.

So after some great input from the audience the $100 marketing automation plan included:

  1. Facebook posts for awareness,
  2. Optimizepress.com for interest and evaluation
  3. Aweber.com for adoption.

Let me know what marketing automation tools you are using and if these are included or what some better ones are. Meet me at one of San Diego’s great tech and startup events or leave a comment here.
