UX — U = X, UX without User-Testing is a No-No!
“Without the understanding of what others see, feel, and experience, design is a pointless task.” — Tim Brown, CEO of the innovation and design firm IDEO
Having spent 4 weeks together to develop an app, our team came up with the final prototype that best represented our solution. As we were geared with our ideal weapons and armors, we wanted to confront stage bosses! With the user interface that had been developed via @Figma, we tested on other teams and carefully studied their reactions.

“Suppose you are an 80 years old woman, trying to go shopping but having hardships due to your health, so you open up this app to ask for help”.
We wanted our app to be tested in the environment where each tester would be a potential customer. Therefore, we showed its home screen with the minimal information about the app and persona.
Since we had been designing the front end application for weeks, we might have possibly rendered some necessary steps unnecessary, fonts clear enough, or idea unambiguous. The first impression on the app was regarded very crucial that we tested our app on 7 different groups.

“If the user is having a problem, it’s our problem.” — Steve Jobs
We rather sought for some criticisms, and the outcome was fantastic.

Not only did we get strong points of the app to keep, but classmates were giving us very detailed comments and possible rooms for improvements.
Many common feedback were from the wording of our button. For example, in the screen below, what we meant by “Going to store” was transportation to store. However, a customer who is new to the screen may think of as the whole trip of going to store, which includes other three options!

We might have been unclear about our destinations. However, after user testing, we are now on the set starting point again. As the 4th weeks is passing by, we are now racing again to a clear destination!
Thank you for reading :)
& Stay tuned for final-polished prototype!
