I think I’m probably in the minority regarding social media. I’m old fashioned. If I have something to say, I say it to the people closest to me. I have no need to tell the entire world my every thought, post pictures of every single thing I do, or take pictures of the food I’m eating. I don’t understand the need for public validation. If you put your personal business out there for everyone to read, then you open yourself up to the hateful judgement of strangers. Don’t tell everyone your business, and you won’t give them the opportunity. The internet and texting gives people the disconnect necessary to have NO conscience and no concept of consequences. That being said, I’m so sorry about your brother. No one should have to go through such a painful experience.
