Code Helper — ms-enable-electron-run-as-node (Mac)

  1. Copy the number displayed after Parent Process (PID)
  2. In your terminal type `ps aux | grep 12345` where 12345 is your process ID number
  3. You will get a list with one or more processes running with Code Helper
  4. If you have more than one option, you have to check the corresponding extensions in VS Code to find out which one is using the CPU
  5. Deactivate that extension, kill the process and restart VS Code. See if the problem still exists
