Meet James & Elyse from Highlife Homes.

Their desire with Highlife Homes was to build bespoke homes and be known for their Luxury Homes.

They approached us in 2018, and they convinced us to tell their compelling story so that people understood what they were all about and to create an emotional connection.

Shortly after they came on board, we did a Story Development Session where we all became clear on the Highlife Homes DNA, message and story.

A few things stood out to us when we started working with Highlife Homes.

– They are clear on their vision.
– They are solution orientated people.
– They have big goals and understand they need the right people around them.

A challenge for James & Elyse was “getting people to understand who we were before they made contact with us.”

These days, they have built a strong reputation for Luxury Developments. Now they only focus on developments for their clients and themselves.

For us, it’s very much about the people, people who can come together with a common goal and collaborate in a really positive way.

There’s always going to be hurdles along the way. As the client that’s able to take and say, alright, what can we do to sort it out?

They’re the clients that we really love collaborating with because everything can be solved with a positive mindset and collaboration.

We are Highlife homes. We are a luxury home and development builder. Because we are very motivated by people that are those solution oriented people with big goals, big visions and want to create amazing things.

It really inspires James and I to expand our own vision for our business and what we can create. You realize how much more is possible to be created with a collaboration like that. Not just about size. We want to work with projects that we know will be successful that we know people will have a great result.

Everyone will win and they’ll come back round to do the same thing all over again. One of the biggest challenges that James and I had was really getting people to understand who we were before they made contact with us. That is very hard to get across in photos and texts. So, for us it was really getting across that feeling that they could see that we really stood for those core values.

I actually come from a film and television background, so I understood how important story was. There are plenty people out there that create business videos. When I had seen Bizvideos’, it was something entirely different. It was really about portraying a personality and a feeling and a heart that I didn’t see in any other videos and that was exactly what we were looking careful.

For people to get to know James and I and to kind of change the context of that preconceived idea about what a builder is, what they offer really changed how that first meeting went. They came in already feeling as though there’s a level of friendship or trust there. Even though that’s only been developed through video.

We have had so many more people contact us regularly since having the videos out there and also having the case study as well because we are saying we are one thing and another person is saying, yes, they’ve had the experience with us and we really, really are those people and we really do have those skills and that experience and that knowledge.

So that’s been hugely beneficial. Since Bizvideo’s been helping us, we’ve had so many clients that’s walked through the door looking for luxury developments and due to that, this year is going to be our biggest year yet and it doesn’t look like it’s slowing down.
