Hi to all cosmic dwellers! No ship can sail the sea of stars without a crew, and no world can be complete without peculiar creatures. That’s why COS has eight fire races that can team you on your journey. Let’s highlight their main features!

General Info

In Corners of Space, there are creatures that can stand, move, attack, repair, put out fires, plug holes, activate abilities, give bonuses, get healed, and die. They are represented by eight races with different characteristics, including the number of lives, speed of movement, and other essentials.

Meanwhile, each ship can accommodate up to 8 crew members. Thus, you can acquire them as NFTs, bring diversity to the next level, and make a dream team of each race, including Humans, Nanites, Leonoids, Mefis, Foreanders, Sephs, Hybrides, and Dorrogians.

Humans

Yep, fam, humans are everywhere. Far from home and exploring the depths of space, they are regarded as the most versatile creatures in the universe. Their talents are multiple, and they learn them 10% quicker than other races’ representatives.

For instance, they are good at operating vessels, fighting, and repairing various stuff. Just consider that their skills are still average compared to some other creatures. That’s why they are the least expensive crew NFTs you can buy.

Nanites

Nanites are robots made of smaller ones. Each of their body parts can be replaced or repaired. These smart creatures do it themselves in double time! As a result, they can live through various problems and efficiently survive. Strong energy!

Meanwhile, remember that their enemy combat damage is halved, and the increased module size can impact their performance. Be careful.

Leonoids

Do you like humanoids? These are so rad they can transform their bodies into semi-rigid forms to use their limbs as weapons and cause 50% greater damage against enemies in combat than representatives of other races.

They can move 20% faster than other crew members adapting to the ship’s gravity. But they have a weak side; their repair potential is decreased by 50% due to the no-cap complexity of their body structure. Keep them comparatively simple. Periodt.

Mefis

Ancient creatures are also on board! Meet Mefis, a race that has existed since the dawn of time. They are human-like but look more snatched and distinguishable thanks to a more developed musculature, vogue rounded horns that meet the best of Y2K aesthetics, reddish skin, and yellowish-green eyes. They are taller than other creatures. True fashionistas!

Additionally, they have impressive engine-related skills. For instance, they reduce engine charging time by 30% and repair it 40% quicker. However, they increase fire risk by 20%. What a hot race, we can’t!

Foreanders

Smart guys here! Every team has its brain. For instance, Foreanders. They represent an old-time race of intellectuals brought by the Ancients as a way to preserve their knowledge and help other civilizations glow up.

The power of Foreanders lies in the mysterious pure blue energy protected by spacesuits. That’s why these humanoids tend to be mistaken for human astronauts. The advantages of these creatures are the 15% increase in weapon module repair speed and the 50% increase in the repair speed of other modules. As for weaknesses, they face a 20% reduction in weapon charging time and movement speed. LOL, imagine walking in such a heavy suit!

Sephs

One more humanoid with a special flavor. Deriving from the harsh planet of huge deserts, Sephs have gray-brown keratinized skin, spines on their necks or heads, black eyes, flat noses, and lipless mouths. Humans call them “the dead.” Ded. However, in terms of skills, they are very much alive! They have increased melee damage by 10%, 10% greater efficiency in ship destruction, an increase of 5% in melee damage taken, and an impressive starting health of 80 points. Wig!

Hybrids

Hybrids are the youngest and also the strangest race. With their scaly green skin, elongated beak-like muzzle, predatory yellow eyes, and, sometimes, fangs they tend to be mistaken for reptiles. And, indeed, they have something snaky and sly. This is their manipulative talent to talk other creatures into something they want! That’s why they can bring you a 20% additional reward in dialogues and a 10% discount at the station. Meanwhile, consider that their health is reduced by 30% and damage taken in combat is increased by 15%.

Dorrogians

Have you ever heard about the planet Ungol? Meet its humanoid race that looks undersized and has a nonconventional skeleton structure, long neck, horse-like head, legs from shoulders, and hands at the abdomen level. They stan peculiar space fashion and wear leather helmets with visors or goggles.

As for their pros and cons, on the one hand, the weird creatures have a 5% increase in maximum ship dodge and a 50% increase in repair speed. On the other hand, they have breathing problems and increase oxygen consumption by 80%.

Conclusion

COS is a vivid universe with unique characters, designs, and stories. Soon you’ll be able to join the game, get NFTs, test them all, and win. And now, let’s stay tuned and unveil more info!
