What makes a good public speaker?

Great points. So many of these examples boil down to the speaker being warm, human, approachable, and relatable. We often want to hear advice and success stories from someone we identify with, and can walk away feeling as if we can achieve success and overcome hardships ourselves. Hearing someone describe his or her “hero’s journey” is incredibly inspiring when we can relate to him or her.
