When “Life Hacking” Is Really White Privilege

Thank you for writing this piece. I’ve constantly found myself explaining to others that my ability to do many things has stemmed from the fact that I am white, female, and privileged. The fortune cookie metaphor of “in bed” paralleling “because I’m white,” has already served as a useful conversation tool when talking with others (especially family or friends) who do not see or know their own privilege. Thank you.
