In a world where everyone is looking for an answer, Christianity provides it. The catch 22 is that although everyone is looking for an answer, they don’t want to be given it. It’s the entire existential movement of independent truth. There are no absolutes. Truth is subjective to the individual. Truth needs to be discovered in ourselves. So when Christianity puts its foot in the ground, the world screams foul. It’s all about open ideas and so-called tolerance of these ideas. But if Christianity suggests an idea that is an absolute, no room for interpretation or perspective, it cannot be true. Because how can something be true for you and also true for me? That’s why you hear all over people exclaiming remarks of “my truth.” It’s an interesting world.
In a Culture that Accepts All Lifestyles, Why is Christianity Ignored?
