FILL IN THE BLANKS
• TYPE-1
Individual one-liner questions.
• TYPE-2
Summary based or paragraph based.

TYPE-1
Before locating the question of TYPE-1 one should understand that answers could be in any paraphrased line of the passage, but one should be good at:
- Vocabulary
- Synonyms
- Understanding the meaning.
NOTE: 99% chances are in IELTS reading that it follows answers in sequence but sometimes for TYPE-1, these may be at scattered locations.

TYPE-2
For this type there is a probability that answers are found in one or two near paragraphs, could be given in jumbled order sometimes, the direct word from the passage is not put as the right answer but one has to predict the correct synonym from the list given below or above the questions. For such questions one should be good at:
- Finding the needed paragraph (by scanning).
- Grammatical understanding of sentences.

Choose one word only from the text.

QUESTION-
By preparing for your interview, you will gain confidence which will help you present yourself well.
Example above can tell you how the paraphrasing and synonyms are used to draft a question.
POINTS TO REMEMBER:
• Do not forget to read out the instructions well. If it is mentioned, answer in one-word so strictly follow it.
• Also, if hyphen (-) is there between two words then it is considered as one word only such as fire-flies, full-moon etcetera.
• Also, check the sentence after putting the answer whether it is grammatically correct or not. If in caseyou find any flaw after reading it put your answer after correcting it.
-Active voice can be changed into passive voice or vice-versa.
Sentence: Scientists were predicting collectively from long about the global health crisis of 2020.
Paraphrasing: Global health crisis of 2020 was predicted by scientists collectively from long .
Here, one can see that how the verb form has changed as per the demand of the sentence.
• Use 1st form of verb after ‘to’ and put ‘ing’ form of verb after for.
• Fill-ups are considered to be one of the most easiest type of question category which can be attempted initially with least chances of errors in less time.
