This week’s updates are pretty short but significant. We want to introduce some of the new members of our team.They are :
Mr Henry Simpson, our new IT manager. He has ten years experience in developing high-frequency trading systems as well as being a highly seasoned trader himself. Hailing from a fintech background, he will be instrumental in building our future systems.
Mr Calvin Zhou — Devops. Calvin has led high profile projects in the companies he has been in and brings to the table his experience in Agile methodologies. Since joining us, he has contributed to optimizing and troubleshooting our back-end operations.
Mr Marudi Subakti — Software developer. Marudi has many years of experience in various software development roles and has worked in MNCs as well as startups.

Having said that, we want to take this chance to clarify our stance on our employment policy.
For security reasons, we will be restricting the information we give out about our new team members. This means we will not be updating our team page with information about new hires, and we might also be removing this page for COSS 2.0. As a business, we hire(or fire) at our discretion.
We know you would like to know more about the prowess our new team members bring to the company, but so do our competitors. We don’t want to go too in depth into this, but there have already been instances of attempted poaching and harassment of our team members.
The hiring of top talent is very important to us and we have gone to great lengths to scout for these people. You will reap the benefits of the platform because of the contribution of our team, and I’m sure you do not want these talents to be poached away because they are advertised on our site.
We also want to reassure you that the exchange is slowly but surely improving. There has been some performance issues lately, and we are well aware of that. But there has actually been a lot of changes behind the scenes and with our new team members coming on board, we are more confident than ever that performance will improve, and COSS 1.0 will run smoother in the buildup to COSS 2.0.
We have been optimizing our infrastructure code and improving our back end as well as other areas that we are not ready to reveal yet, and we know, it’s still a bumpy ride, but bear with us and we will get there soon.
We have two upcoming listings: SPIKE and MORE.
Mithril Ore ( MORE ) will be conducting a trading promo of 1,200 MORE tokens from 17th August to 16th September.
