COSS.IO v1.2 LAUNCH! (in 3 hours)

And we are GO for launch in T -3 hours!

v1.2 will be launching soon. Thank you for your patience with us while the site was offline.

Some important notices for everyone :

> FSA and FSA conversion will take place next week, and you will not be able to see your FSA yet. In layman’s terms, we have yet to ‘hook’ up the backend to the interface, and that is why it won’t be visible. But your allocations are still intact, and you will be able to see it next week.

> Some nodes are not ready yet. Trading is still enabled for these coins/tokens, but deposit and withdrawals are disabled. We will notify you as soon as they come online. Rest assured: your funds are safe.

> Our affiliate system is live, and affiliate rewards will be distributed on a weekly basis for now; future reward distributions will be on a daily basis. Start spreading the word of COSS.io (and get rewarded for it)!

> Our withdrawal fees are static for now, but dynamic rates will come online at a later date.

> We will bring up institutional account registrations in the near future.

> Fiat deposits are online, but GBP and EUR withdrawals are not online yet. Integration with third-party payment providers is taking longer than anticipated.

Let us explain.

v1.2 was a complete migration to a whole new system; not a single piece of code was brought over, in other words. Our security systems were enhanced with New Mulitsig warm and cold wallets. An entire new wallet system was set up. This means new nodes (some of which were more complex than others) had to be created, which would impact our launch date.

Our developers worked very hard to port over all of COSS 1.0’s features, but ultimately, we had to make a few hard decisions: delay v1.2 launch to migrate all features, or go live now, and push back some features that would have the least impact on you.

Let us be clear: These features WILL still be implemented, in addition to all other planned features.

Our apologies for not having all the features ready. We will get them online as soon as possible.

In the meantime, we hope you will enjoy v1.2!

As a reminder: Somidax(SMDX), Blockpool(BPL) and Hydrominer(H2O) have been delisted, and wallets are closed. No requests regarding these 3 tokens will be entertained.

Some remarks from our alpha testers :

My absolute first impression when I logged in to the new 1.2 version was that it was fast and fluid. I do hope that the rest of the community have the same experience, and going forward updating towards 2.0 is very exciting. Your team has done an amazing job.

I would say it’s a vast improvement over 1.0, in terms of speed, looks and feel. Now it feels like we are up there with the big boys! Time to give them a run for their money.

It’s been a long and arduous journey to get to v1.2, but this is just the start of our road to v2.0. Stay tuned for more updates to come!
