It’s Our Birthday! Celebrate Trustchain’s 4th Anniversary With Us!
Here at COTI, we’re thrilled to celebrate the 4th anniversary of our Trustchain Mainnet launch. A lot has happened over the past four years and throughout this time, we’ve seen tremendous growth, both as a community and an ecosystem.
Since our Mainnet launch on June 4th, 2019, we’ve ticked off an impressive number of roadmap milestones. Just in the last 12 months since our last anniversary announcement, we’ve launched MultiDAG 2.0 on Mainnet, we developed and deployed DJED, an overcollateralized stablecoin on Cardano. We introduced gCOTI, COTI’s Treasury Governance Token, and started running a hugely successful gCOTI Airdrop Campaign that saw record amounts of TVL added to COTI’s Treasury. We added new Mainnet Nodes to the network, and announced partnerships that will continue to help fuel the growth of the ecosystem.
Our Trustchain is quite unique in our industry. Utilizing the groundbreaking Proof of Trust consensus algorithm, the Trustchain powers bespoke, private payment networks that can rival the speed, scalability and security of traditional financial infrastructure.

For those that have been with us for a while, you’ll know that one of our roadmap promises involves increasing the number of Mainnet Node Operators in COTI’s network. And while we’re celebrating Trustchain’s 4th birthday, what better way to do it than by welcoming 4 brand new community members that we’ve selected to become Mainnet Node Operators.
First up, we have Stralaen, the owner of the new Mainnet Node: Vision Node. An absolute pillar of the COTI community, Stralaen created the community hub, a website that categorizes and lists many of the community and official resources, including Node explorers, setup guides and more. He also created COTI flag logos for every country, hosting them on Github and making them available for free to new Node Operators and community members.

Having first heard about COTI in late 2021, I quickly came to appreciate the vision for a purpose-built, regulation-ready Layer 1 solution for payments and enterprise tokens; something that in context of the broader crypto space felt, and still feels, uniquely grounded as a real-world solution to real-world problems, run by a team that are quite simply ahead of the curve on every level.

Next up, we’d like to give some love to Jay Cerp, the owner of the new Mainnet Node: COTI Love Node. Jay’s been running a Testnet Node since May 22’ and is an engaging and valuable member of the community. When he isn’t on Discord, educating other members and helping to spread the word, Jay periodically publishes chart technical analysis. Jay created this website to document his activity as a Node operator and to share guides and tools with the community.
Here’s what Jay had to say:

Our third new Mainnet Node operator is COTI Canuck, a household name in the COTI community. Active on Twitter and Telegram, Canuck is vocal about all things COTI. He’s also one of the creators of the COTI community podcast, a place where they discuss COTI related topics and interview COTI team members.

I’m honored to be asked to join Mainnet alongside these 3 amazing community members. And last but not least, we have Sm20.lottienode, the owner of the new Mainnet Node: Sm20LottieNode. He’s been running a Testnet Node since September 22’ and is recognized as one of the most engaging community members on social media for COTI. You probably know him by his photos with his Golden retriever, Lottie.
