I don’t know if you have an empirical approach towards life or philosophical. Nonetheless, I would go ahead and ask you if you were really that elated to find that rainbow is a result of some scientific processes like refraction and not just some Nature’s way of teaching us beauty (or whatever it is that rainbow make you feel). I, for one, was devastated. Both explanations are undisputed and stand corrected. We just choose whichever lets us live better. I chose to unlearn some things I was told as a part of my learning so that I could make peace with my beliefs and thence, grow. You can choose to learn and then grow.
