There is a direct bus running 6 times a day between these cities. It costs 47,000 Colombian pesos ($15 USD).
Due to being such a picturesque location, there are many cool places to stay in Salento.
To visit Guatape
Guatape is another very cool town in Colombia that is one of the most popular places to visit due to the cute, colourful houses.
If you are looking for a shorter journey, Guatape is only a 2 hour drive from Medellin.
If you don’t want to DIY, you can go by tour for 70,000 pesos ($22 USD) per person.
