So after many “failed” attempts at maintaining a personal/development blog over the years I think that this year, 2016, I’m going to wade into writing something at least once a week.
Some background…
I’m a husband and father of 3 (2 boys and 1 girl). I am an iOS developer at BMW in Greenville, SC. I’ve worked on a lot of projects over the years (many web and iOS applications).
Objective
This year my goal is to get back to the basic and research:
- Swift - Especially now that it’s open sourced…
- Functional Programming
- Programming paradigms, algorithms and patterns
I also have a list of podcasts that I generally listen to off and on related to iOS development that I want to listen to more consistently this year.

As I finalize my list of books to read for the year and podcasts to listen to I’ll post them here and try to include updates when I finished the books and information I took away from it.
