Kevin Durant: My Favorite Plays #1

For eight years I have cheered for Kevin Durant. I have many favorite plays and memories, but one of my personal favorites was a dunk in the playoffs over Dallas center Brendan Haywood. My brother knew how much I enjoyed the play, and gave me a hand drawn print of the play for Christmas a year or two later. This is one of my favorite pieces that I have hanging in my office. This is the only KD piece I have left hanging in my office/home. My son and I are moving on systematically and taking down posters, and anything else we have on the walls.
As part of the process of moving on, i’m going to post some of my most memorable plays.
Kevin Durant Play #1 (2011 WCF vs Dallas Mavericks)
In the first quarter of Game 2 (2011 Western Conference Finals) against the Dallas Mavericks, the NBA’s leading scorer blew by Peja Stojakovic and attacked the basket. Dallas center Brendan Haywood stepped up to try and stop him, but Durant would not be denied. The Thunder star leaped up and threw down a ridiculous one-handed dunk over Haywood and got fouled on the play. (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/)
