Important Dates for CA Intermediate / CA FINAL ICAI Exam November 2023: Official Schedule and Analysis
The CA Intermediate / CA FINAL ICAI exams for November 2023 are a significant event for aspiring Chartered Accountants. DATE SHEET FOR NOVEMBER 2023 ICAI EXAM.
1. Official Exam Dates:
- The CA Intermediate ICAI exams for November 2023 are expected to be held on the 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th, 14th, and 16th of November 2023.
- The CA FINAL ICAI exams for November 2023 are expected to be held on the 1st,3rd,5th,7th,9th,11th,13th&15th of November 2023.
- The exam timing for all subjects is from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
2. Exam Subjects and Dates:
CA INTERMEDIATE:
- Accounting: 2nd November 2023
- Corporate and other law: 4th November 2023
- Cost Management Accounting: 6th November 2023
- Taxation: 8th November 2023
- Advanced Accounting: 10th November 2023
- Audit and Assurance: 12th November 2023
- EIS — SM: 14th November 2023
- FM — Eco: 16th November 2023
CA FINAL:
- FR: 1st November 2023
- SFM: 3rd November 2023
- Law: 5th November 2023
- Audit: 7th November 2023
- SCMPE: 9th November 2023
- Elective: 11th November 2023
- DT: 13th November 2023
- IDT: 15th November 2023
Students should report at around 1.30 to the exam hall

CA Intermediate / CA FINAL Exam Pattern
The CA Intermediate / CA FINAL exams evaluate students’ understanding of key concepts in accounting, cost management, taxation, auditing, and financial management.
Each paper in CA Inter is worth 100 marks, and students must achieve a minimum of 40 marks in each subject & 50% overall to pass the exams.
There is no negative marking for multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
- Type of Questions: The CA Inter / CA Final exams consist of both descriptive and objective papers.
- Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs): MCQs contribute 30% of the marks in four exams.
- Negative Marking: There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
- Total Marks: The maximum mark for the CA Inter / CA Final exams is 100.
- Number of Questions: Each exam includes a total of 6 questions, with the first one being compulsory. Students must attempt any four questions from the remaining five.
- Exam Duration: The duration of each CA Inter / CA Final exam is 3 hours. ( Note that elective paper will be open book and would have 4 hours instead of 3 hours )

FEES for CA Intermediate / CA Final examination from November 2023
The examination FEES for CA Intermediate / CA final vary based on the candidate’s group and location. Here are the specific amounts:
Indian Students:
- Single Group: Rs 1500 / 1800
- Both Groups: Rs 2700 / 3300
Overseas Students:
- Single Group: US $ 325 / 325
- Both Groups: US $ 500 / 550
Nepal Students:
- Single Group: Rs 2200 / 2200
- Both Groups: Rs 3400 / 4000
These FEES are subject to change, so it’s essential to verify the exact amounts at the time of application.
