Hello, my dear readers,

For this week’s article, I simply did not have the time to do enough research to meet my own quality standards. For this reason, I decided to write you this letter.

But why am I so busy?

Well, at the moment I’m working on my final project for the Android module of my continuing education. Actually, it’s not that difficult — I’ve already met the requirements to pass — but I’m not satisfied yet. So I have thought about some features for my app that are — to put it mildly — a bit more difficult (I would like to thank all the people who support me in my research and when I am faced with a seemingly unsolvable bug).

Breaking the wall

But I just want to finally break through a certain wall in my development as a programmer, so I’m taking a bit of a hammer approach. My patience with myself is a little… exhausted. I want to finally get to the next level, so I’m just whipping through this project and I’m absolutely not sure if I’m going to make it, but I’m not giving up.

I would also like to get this project into the Google Play Store if possible, as it is very close to my heart and I am now going through another hard stroke of fate where I realise that an app like the one I am now coding would help me a lot and I hope that it will also be a good tool for others. If I really succeed in getting it into the Google Play Store, I will also try to get it into the Apple App Store.

This blog

At the same time, I’m thinking about this blog. I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but currently I’m writing more portraits about important women in cybersecurity. This mini-series won’t last too much longer, but the statistics on it… makes me think. Where do I want to go with my blog? Should I tell more about myself or write more professionally? What do you want to read? Can I actually offer you that?

Articles, articles — but what to do?

I have so many articles already planned in my head that I’m sure I’ll have material for a few more months, but I don’t know if they’ll interest you. I lack a bit of feedback. I don’t know if you like an article or not, or what exactly you liked and didn’t like.

I’ll probably just keep going. Let’s see how it develops. In any case, this blog is very important to me and I hope it gives you pleasure and added value.

The coming weeks

… I am still working intensively on my app. It may be that until it is finished at the beginning of September, an article will be postponed and there will be a gap. I hope you don’t mind.

Until then, I wish you a wonderful summer and maybe you’ll have a look at my other articles. Maybe you haven’t read some of them yet.

Ciao,

Lea

If you liked this letter, please feel free to applaud and share it. If you would like to share your own experiences, I look forward to your comments and if you don’t want to miss my other articles, feel free to follow me.
