The android:width/height attributes are the _intrinsic_ size of the vector i.e. the size they’d be if you put them in a wrap_content ImageView. If they’re rendered at a larger size then they will scale the vector up to the desired size and draw that to a Bitmap (which is then cached for future draws). So no, not rendered at width/height and Bitmap scaled up.
