Woah! We’ve built a lot recently using Netcall Liberty Create

Netcall — Liberty Create Low-code

The Digital Team at Cumbria recently had a visit from Nick Hill. It was good to have a chat about all things Digital, but when he asked where we are on our Netcall journey, particularly using the low-code platform Liberty Create (previously MATS [Matssoft]) we had a bit of an eye opener.

We knew we had been busy and not just because we’re a small team. We hadn’t realised quite how much we had done until it was down on paper. Bear in mind the oldest item on this list is just 12 months old!

1. Streetworks Skips and Scaffold permit- Case management system
2. Blue Badge- End to end system with online payments and DfT central badge integration.
3. Archives Centre- End to end resource booking system
4. Waste permits for commercial vehicle and pedestrians- End to end system with DVSA vehicle reg lookup integration
5. Business Portal- User account system and access to business specific applications
6. Streetworks Skips and Scaffolds permit- Business portal user online forms and payment
7. Third-party insurance claims- End to end system
8. Internal Christmas parties- Booking system
9. Streetworks Highway Christmas light permit- End to end system
10. Parking permits- Online forms and notification system
11. Accounts payable invoices- End to end system including integration with robotic process automation system into Finance system
12. Complaints (Corporate, Adults, Childrens), Compliments and MP correspondence- Case management system
13. Digital Team programme and project management- End to end system
14. Community Grants applications- Case management system (staging)
15. Internal ‘Pipeline’ collaboration portal- project tracking and notifications for all Cumbria County Council staff (staging)

Notable mentions:

1. Postcode to Address Lookup widget powered by GetAddress.io was developed in collaboration with a Netcall resource.
2. Save and Return add on- a customer feature request for Blue Badge applications (when user does not have an account)
3. Page URL Info Presenter- returns the full URL and query string for the current webpage

I still feel we are only at the start of this journey, but what a start it has been!
