From the seller’s point of view, three star reviews are often the most interesting when you are trying to find out what you can improve about your product. It means somebody kind of liked your product (i.e. it wasn’t completely wrong for them — often one star reviews can be discounted for that reason) but there’s plenty room for improvement.
