Good question. Thank you for asking. Sometimes it will be something very tactical or specific. Example: We need to develop new report to understand something in the business for us to make a decision. Other times it could be a strategic issue for the company. People are constantly in conflict because different people have competing goals or we need to change a bigger picture issue on the direction we are going as a business.

Strategic — Relating to the identification of long-term or overall aims and interests and the means of achieving them.

Tactical — Relating to small-scale action serving a larger purpose
