I think it was more like… Hayward made up his mind to leave Utah –>word got out –>Hayward wanted to make sure the Jazz knew first (plus he had to finish writing his Players’ Tribune letter –> his agent threw shade on Haynes from ESPN for pre-releasing the news –> Hayward’s camp pretended like a decision hadn’t been made –> once he took care of the article and told the Jazz, Hayward’s camp made it public

Don’t believe for a minute that he was still deciding, even as media were contradicting Chris Haynes report of his departure.
