If you suffer from mashup fatigue, listen to something else. I listen to a ton of original music, but I enjoy a good mashup when I hear it. Listening to a song that I grew tired of given new life because it’s been blended with tones, hooks, notes, melodies, etc from other music appeals to me. Hearing snippets of songs I don’t particularly like used in concert with other snippets and beats to create something I do like also appeals to me. Hand-wringing about mashups seems petty and unnecessary to me.
