Renato Moicano earned his third-straight win inside the Octagon at UFC 300, defeating №. 10 ranked lightweight contender Jalin Turner with an impressive come-from-behind victory.

Within seconds a body kick from Turner had Moicano compromised and looking for the clinch. Moicano managed to score the takedown less than a minute into the round, immediately moving into half-guard and controlling from the top. With less than two minutes to go in the round, Turner fought his way back up and blasted Moicano with a massive left hand that dropped the Brazilian.

Turner walked away, believing he had landed the one-hitter quitter, but referee Herb Dean allowed the action to continue — much to Turner’s chagrin.

Uninterested in tasting more of Turner’s power, Moicano worked his opponent back down to the mat and moved directly into the mount. With a minute to go in the round, ‘Money’ unleashes a flurry of ground and pound strikes. Unable to fight out of the position, Turner turtles up, forcing Dean to step in and call for the stoppage.

Official Result: Renato Moicano def. Jalin Turner via TKO (ground and pound) at 4:11 of Round 2.
