The solution to the global crisis of capitalism is simplicity itself

Thank you Ted for this inspiring and forward looking article. My own belief is that the “focus must be on helping ordinary people to see the need for moving towards a simpler way…” is something that could be innovated on a massive scale throughout society. In particular a simple format like the traditional talking circle could be weaved into a movement that could very possibly go viral, if it was set up well. People are craving connection, and a sense of vision, even if they’ve buried those aspirations beneath apathy, fear, and hopelessness. It’s therefore possible, and I believe, likely, that if we provide a vehicle for those aspirations, people would rise to the invitation and take up the cause.
