I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. Ephesians 3:16-17

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen, and faithfulness —that is being full of faith, is to have a complete confidence in God and what He has told you to the point that others can have confidence in you. When you walk in faith in God others will be able to follow you as you follow Christ.

How is faithfulness a fruit of the Spirit? When we build our lives on the strong foundation that is faith in Christ, we become a stable person in our dealings with others. It is because of the foundation being stable that the building is stable.

Faithfulness is relying on Christ and because of that others can rely on you. Trust in Christ in all that you do. Obey Him in everything He commands you. If you are faithful to Him you will become more and more like Him.

As you go about your day today be faithful to obey God in all that He speaks to you. Jesus said that; “whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock”. If you are faithful to what God says you will be faithful to others as well.
