As someone who just finished university, I completely sympathise with this. When I was in college, we were told to revise 3 hours after the school day ended and between an intense swimming routine and socialising it often left me exhausted to the point I fell asleep in class and often relied of caffeine tablets to make it through the day. This was very common among my peers as well.

I’m not sure what it’s like in the States but in Britain we have a huge drinking culture as teenagers. I’m not making any assumptions but I often wonder if this has a little to do with the stress the modern teenagers face everyday.
