Great point in this article. Having learned it the hard way myself, now I always recommend the same advise to all my friends: rather than going on a “job hunt” better always take it as a “scouting of workplaces.” Go “job shopping” and whenever you interview or go to visit a new potential workplace, ask yourself: If this was party I had just dropped-off by, all with people I don’t know; would I want to stay?, want to become friends with these people?, will I click?, will I feel welcomed and comfortable? (or as this article puts is: Will you be “loved back”?). If not, move on. There’s a better mountain for you to climb, somewhere else.
