Success measured by action

It is easy to get wrapped up and let celebrities and millionaires tell you what they think success is. Fancy cars, mansions, and $100 meals every night could be on the list. So, don’t think you’re successful if you’re still driving that Honda Accord around. Wrong. We have all already found success by starting this journey.
At 23, I had no idea what I was going to do. I had no job, education, or house of my own and those were all my choice. Shortly after I decided enough was enough. I concluded that I could have ANYTHING anyone else had if I wanted it bad enough. See, for so long I thought I was destined to work a 9–5, and make $12 a hour because I had no particular set of skills. Well, I didn’t have any skill set because I never gave myself time to develop any. Once I started dabbling in creating opportunity, I began to see these doors open, and I even began to walk through a few. I would be lying to say I haven’t failed along the way, that’s part of it. But I refused not to take action anymore. I decided that my success was not going to be measured by how much money was in my account, but rather if I was doing what I was capable of doing each day of my life. Since then I have help build star ups to sale, I have boosted company’s online presence, found a passion for photography, and even started daily blogging.
Words can fool people, money can work as an illusion, but action is located at the top. If you’re working towards your dreams and goals everyday, you are already successful. The money will come, but don’t let that motivate you or defer you from why you are here in the first place. Make a difference in this world. Leave your mark.
