Chicken Spinach is very simple and tasty dish. I love this food it’s my favorite dish. First time I make this dish on my little brother birthday party. My family members gave me good compliments about this recipe. Mostly I make this type of dishes in different ways. You can make it easily at your home. Just follow the instructions carefully. Pre-cooking time is 20 minutes. Cooking time is 45 minutes. Total time is 1 hour. You can serve chicken spinach 3 to 4 peoples.

Ingredients:

  • Spinach leaves, washed — 500g/1lb 2oz
  • Vegetable oil — 4 tbsp
  • Cardamom pods — 3
  • Bay leaves — 2
  • In piece cinnamon stick — 5cm/2
  • Green chilies, pricked with a knife — 3–4
  • Large onion, chopped — 1
  • in piece ginger, peeled and chopped — 2cm/¾
  • Head garlic, peeled, cloves left whole — 1
  • Large tomatoes cut into quarters — 3
  • Chicken pieces, skin removed — 800g/1lb 12oz
  • Ground coriander — 2 tsp
  • Garam-masala — 1½ tsp
  • Salt and newly ground black pepper
  • Plain yogurt, stirred — 4 tbsp
  • Basmati rice, cooked according to packet instructions, to serve

Instructions for Chicken Spinach:

Step 1: First of all, Blend the spinach to a pure using 1 or 2 tablespoons of water to loosen the mixture in a food pan. put to one side.

Step 2: After that, Heat up the vegetable oil in a pan over a normal heat. And Start addition of bay leaves, cardamom pods, and cinnamon and fry around 20 to 30 seconds.

Step 3: Now add the green chilies and onion carries on to fry around 4 to 5 minutes, or until caramelized.

Step 4: Here, Mix the garlic, ginger, and tomatoes to a flat paste in the food pan for the time being.

Step 5: At that stage Put in some paste, chicken pieces and remaining spices to the pan and mix well to join, when the onions have caramelized. Now, Taste with salt and boil for around 12 to 15 minutes, thrilling regularly.

Step 6: Next add some yogurt mix well and continue to boil the mixture until the sauce has thickened and almost dried out.

Step 7: On the last step, Mix in the spinach puree and continue to boil around 10 to 12 minutes, until the chicken has cooked from side to side.

Step 8: Hence your favorite dish is ready to serve. Enjoy!!!
