Unfortunately, anti-depressants did little for me. I have read that depression (and the brain) is more complex than just not enough serotonin. Sometimes it’s not enough dopamine. Sometimes it’s TOO MUCH serotonin. They even found something in the blood can cause depression. And, a lot of the time a patient needs CBT instead of medication, or to get out of their situation altogether is the only answer. I have found that for me, microdosed responsible use of cannabis has changed my brain in ways I thought SSRI’s would.
