Ladies Last!

I was with you until the focus of the post became public bathrooms. The Women’s March speaker’s pro-war background is a brilliant example of the hypocrisy of blindly pushing intetsectionality. But then…old-timey binary gender assertions and trans people in public restrooms? I honestly don’t understand your argument about why it’s so horrifying; I don’t “get” it, nor do I find it directly relevant to the title.

I’d much rather focus on getting all the men who are sexual predators out of positions of political, social and economic power than go back to the tired gendered bathroom debate. Seems like it should be a higher priority; women get sexually harassed and assaulted by cis men outside the bathroom a heluvalot more than the virtually nonexistent trans woman bathroom attack.
